Resources for risk and crisis management
The Nonprofit Risk Management Center offers publications and seminars focused on the needs of nonprofit organizations. See http://www.nonprofitrisk.org/ The website offers online tutorials on Accident Response, Basic Risk Management and Volunteer Risk Management. On the "About Us" page there's a list of relevant links to other online resources. There's also an invitation to ask a specific question if the website doesn't afford the needed information.

The Nonprofit Risk Management Center sends out "E-News" three times a year with current information about risk management and insurance questions for nonprofits. The latest issue and subscription information (free for nonprofits) can be found at http://www.nonprofitrisk.org/nwsltr/newsltr.htm

Covering both nonprofits and governmental units, the Public Entity Risk Institute (http://www.riskinstitute.org/) has this mission: "to serve public, private, and nonprofit organizations as a dynamic, forward thinking resource for the practical enhancement of risk management." The website has lots of resources and links.
