Nonprofit Connections -- Searching Resources



Welcome to a basic Internet web link resource for the use of nonprofit
entities done as part of the Information for Nonprofits FAQ (Frequently
Asked Questions). It is not our intent to create a comprehensive nonprofit
resource compendium on this page but rather to simply link pages which do
contain many such general resources and links of interest to nonprofits and
choice searching sites which can lead to such information. Comments,

Searching Sites:


The following sites are some of the sites which perform searches of the
World Wide Web or have a tree and branch searching structure (or both) to
enable you to look for topics. A number of them have suggestions on
searching techniques which are well worth reading. Some have more
sophisticated searching programs which will allow Boolean searches using,
e.g., 'not' or 'and' words to narrow searches. You might try various
searchers since they use somewhat differing algorithms and, for that reason
and others, sometimes yield somewhat different results from one another.
