Our core activity during the June Work Group Meeting centered around key barriers that would hinder us from achieving our 12- month objectives. 

The work group developed a list of the following key-barriers. 

• Access to resources
• Assessment of parental knowledge and training
• Communication
• Competition
• Finding government programs to fund
• Follow up tracking progress of transient kids
• Funding
• Marketing/ spread of information
• Policy (the impact of mandated early childhood education v non mandated  and voluntary)
• Progress monitoring
• Transportation 

In July, delegates will finalize their work plans, review key indicators for success, and begin mapping out action steps to meet our goals.
