From the website: Incorporated in 1971 and established as a 501(c)3 non-profit, the community-based organization Brevard Adult Literacy Volunteers has been involved in the literacy efforts in Brevard County. Better known today as the Literacy Alliance of Brevard, our fictitious name, our volunteers provide free, accessible educational services to the educationally disadvantaged, underserved populations in Brevard County. Our quality educational programs help individuals gain skills that enhance their ability to deal with real-life situations, meet personal goals, and become more self-determining and self-sufficient.
LITERACY FOR ADULTS IN BREVARD TEACHES LITERACY SKILLS TO ADULTS SO THEY MAY REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL IN THEIR FAMILIES, JOBS, AND COMMUNITIES.
Note: Some ratios are only available for organizations completing the detailed IRS Form 990.
