The Center, founded and staffed by the School Sisters of St Francis, is located on over 50 acres of natural beauty. The grounds, with wide open spaces for walking, are embraced by the gentle flow of Monacacy Creek and are highlighted by several prayer gardens, a labyrinth and walking paths.
The Center offers year round programs of spiritual enrichment.
With several options for meeting spaces, including a state of the art multi-media room and 37 bedrooms, St. Francis Center is also an ideal location for faith based or non profit organizations to hold staff retreat days, work shops and seminars. The facility is fully air conditioned and wheel chair accessible and enjoys excellent dining provided by professional chefs.
The Mission of St Francis Center for Renewal is to glorify God and to witness to the Gospel by providing a Christ-centered environment of hospitality, caring and love as an oasis of peace and healing for all God's people.
