Collaborative Working Groups (CWGs): Collective Action for Focused Outcomes

Collective Impact takes more than a vision.  It takes a broad range of cross-sector organizations and stakeholders commiting to work together for a sustained period of time with mutually recinforcing activities, shared indicators to measure progress, and continous communication for learning and adapting.  Such deep level of collaboration also needs to be equipped with capacity to coordinate the activities of the group, data to inform strategies and actions, and communications to engage the broader community.   For Santa Fe to make a real stride in achieving collective impact from birth to career, we need to invest in our capacity to "collaborate" effectively toward moving outcomes.

The Santa Fe Birth to Career Collaborations (SF B2C) is excited to announce six Collaborative Working Group (CWGs) that we will be partnering to make that stride in improving outcomes from birth to career.   These are groups of stakeholders that have come together to plan and executive collective actions to improve outcomes in a focused area such as early childhood, disconnected youth, equity in the Southside of Santa Fe, and safety and health of children.  Over the next year, SF B2C will be working closely with the groups providng technical assistance and facilitation (in most cases using Results-Based Accountability), targeted financial assitance to support the capacity, and data and communication to inform strategies and "tell the story".
