Purpose:

CONNECT seeks to bring together agencies involved in youth tutoring and mentoring programs to share resources, streamline efforts, create community awareness, and support the creation of a website with resources for volunteers interested in or involved in mentoring and tutoring.

Proposed Scope:

1.    Convening a meeting for all agencies involved in mentoring and tutoring in Santa Fe
2.    Designing, scheduling, marketing and facilitating training workshops for mentors
3.    Streamlining recruitment efforts
4.    Building community awareness of mentoring and tutoring programs and benefits
5.    Convening a citywide appreciation event for mentors across programs
6.    Supporting creation of a website with resources, directory of providers, and other supports for agencies and volunteers
