Philanthropy & Civic Engagement
Philanthropy is a critical part of a democratic society. It supports projects and endeavors from which we all benefit, such as libraries, museums and scientific research. Charities rely on the generosity of donors’ time and money. Working together, these organizations and individuals provide for many unmet needs in their communities. During times of economic uncertainty, it becomes even more important for these partnerships to flourish and for individuals to become further invested in the welfare of their communities.
