Note (from cyb-acc): Until he died earlier this year, Dean
Kelley was
one of America's foremost authorities on religious liberty in
America, and
served as the chief "watchdog" for religious liberty in America for
the
National Council of Churches (the association composed of most of
the
largest church denominations in America). He wrote several books on
taxes
and churches, including one entitled, "Why Churches Should Not Pay
Taxes."

Klein, Kim. Fundraising for Social Change. "An outstanding
resource
for
grassroots and community organizations is "Fundraising for Social
Change" by Kim Klein. It is available through many locations, but if
you
can't find it you can contact the Grassroots Fundraising Journal (a

Love, Arnold J. Internal Evaluation: Building Organizations from

all sectors, Arnold specializes in nonprofit organizations. I have
taken
his course in nonprofit program evaluation at York University.
Arnold is
also head of the Canadian Evaluation Society. The book is trade
paperback style ($19.95 in Canada; it would be less in the States)
and a

Martin, Samuel. An Essential Grace: funding Canada's health
care,
education, welfare, religion, and culture
. Published in the
mid '80s.
Out of print.



Mason, D.E. Voluntary Nonprofit Enterprise Management
published by
Plenum Press in 1984. It deals with 14 characteristics of voluntary
nonprofit organizations that mandate a distinctive management.
