Louisiana Substance Abuse Helpline: Toll Free 1-877-664-2248 The Louisiana Substance Abuse Helpline is a toll-free, confidential information & referral line that assists individuals in our state who are affected by substance abuse problems.

LINCC partnered with Bossier Parish Library & Shreveport Memorial Library to provide access to LINCC for all citizens in Caddo & Bossier Parishes.

LINCC partnered with OHSEP & VOAD to promote Community Needs & Resources for Flood 2016: LINCC in SB Magazine; LINCC in Biz Magazine; LINCC in the Times, LINCC on KEEL Radio; LINCC on Red River Radio; LINCC on KSLA; LINCC on KTBS.

LINCC partnered with the Rotary Club of Shreveport to host a volunteer fair, Serve for Good, in conjunction with the second annual Red River Food Truck Throwdown and 2000 people were introduced to the nonprofit community. Serve for Good  was supported by a grant from Volunteer Louisiana.

Initiatives

Community Counts: A report on the quality of Life in Bossier,Caddo, DeSoto & Webster Parishes.

Choice Neighborhood develops strategies that address housing, neighborhood, and social/education issues to improve the quality of life and well-being in the  Allendale, Ledbetter Heights, and West Edge neighborhoods.

FaithWorks is an ecumenical network of faith based groups connecting those in need with services.

Hope Connections has created a system that connects people experiencing homelessness with the services they need. Monthly coalition meetings are every fourth Wednesday (9 AM) at Hope Connections. 

Step Forward is a catalyst for working together across sectors and geographical lines to prepare the students of Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, & Webster Parishes for academic achievement, productive citizenship and global competitiveness, from cradle to career.

We Grow Together! works to develop a Healthy Regional Food System for the ArkLaTex by addressing the primary barriers to nutritious food access and to ensure profitability for our regional farmers.
