Barnstable County, otherwise known as Cape Cod, is home to more than 215,000 year-round residents and welcomes four million visitors each year to its shores, the second highest tourism destination in the Commonwealth.  While Cape Cod is known for its beautiful beaches, second homes, golf, and boating, our region has great disparities in the well-being of its year-round residents. Even in the face of challenges, one of Cape Cod’s greatest assets is its’ people, people who are committed to using the vast array of resources we have here to improve the quality of life for all.
